Need hint to defeat man who is at the docks in Singapore

I need help in how to defeat the man who is at the docks in Singapore, right before you are to board the ship. I kill him, but he just keeps coming back to life. Or maybe you don't need to kill him and there is a way to board the ship?

Is this during the duel?

Or right at the end, before the huge ship, fighting the men in black.

You should only have to use a special move to defeat him, like any stronger opponent. Hit him twice with the sword, and once with your fist, and he should fall, and get back up. Do this until you have half a momentum bar, and finish him off, when he is stunned.

First knock the pile of crates at him

Next tip the wheel-barrow up, it will hit him in the gut

Next you need to block him continuously until he makes a big lunge for you, then kick him, he will begin hopping up and down in pain, defenseless, this is a good time to make a big sword slash at him.

You will need to do the block-kick-slash move repeatedly, until jack knocks over the second pile of crates

Then throw fruit at him, over and over again. Don't even bother to block him or try to fight, just throw fruit.

Then comes the jackanism, do it.

Then when you climb up to the balcony throw the pot at him

Next take a few steps backwards (without blocking or fighting) until you see the second exclamation point, do it

By this time he should be at about 50% life, just fight him normally.
