This same thing happened to me. Check your hard drive/MU. If it's room is almost filled up, delete the data from the rest of your games. If it doesn't work after that, you'll have to delete your data from NBA 2K12.
You'll have to start over. Sorry!

in order to keep going you have to cut off your AUTO save in the MY PLAYER MODE

only put the save mode off

Take the game off autosave then once you win the finals save it.
