I heard about this game and that the producer and music are all from past final fantasy games. I heard that it is a blend of new and old RPGs and is 3 discs long with cutscenes that go on forever. I haven't found much of a quick story line summary. I don't want details, cause I am going to buy this and play it, but I am itching to get a story line to make sure it isn't a flop.

Well I'm at the final boss fight on the fourth and final disc. The first three discs averaged around ten hours each but the fourth has taken abit longer. And there is still alot more sidequests that I havn't bothered with.
The story line is quite a good one, I often find myself wanting to see the next cut scene than wanting to play. And the cut scenes are long and frequent, kind of half movie and half game, but in my opinion it is very easy to loose yourself in the game and have some fun. Its just based on a group of friends that are 1000 year old immortals trying to regain their memories while battling their way to save the world from another power hungry immortal.
I would recommend this game but I am unsure of how it compares to the final fantasy series as I have never played them.
