How do I locate the Hermit that lives in the timberlands,that has the medicine to cure Edwards ailment.

Ok first it's best to enter the timberlands from Kolton. Then travel to your first true intersection and go north, travel upwards on the map until the next intersection and head east. Continue straight until you trigger a battle with a chimera looking monster. After that fight keep going the direction you were because you are very close, and the next intersection you should turn north. Travel as far as you possibly can then head west and go through the weird wind barrier. That should take you to another intersection in which you can go south and go through that wind barrier to reach the path to the hermits house. If the western way I mentioned earlier doesn't work go down on your map until you gan go west again
