Ummm how do you beat the golem in the magic labs when you go back to the school the first time?

There quite a few golems in the magic labs so I am unsure as to which one you mean. To be honest all of them are rather easy and if you are having difficulty it could just be a case of you need to level up some more and use some Sp to increase your parameters. If you are asking about the fight with Professor Kou and his Golem, then you need to focus on professor Kou not the golem as he will simply keep summoning more of them no matter how many you defeat so focus all your attacks on him.
