HELP WITH LAST CHAPTER, PLEASE?

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE APPLE ORCHARD ESTATE, CONTINUING THROUGH TO THE NEXT SECTIONS. I CAME ACROSS (2) STASHES OF SUB-MACHINE GUNS, AND MULTI HEALTH PACKS. I HAD USED THE SUB'S TO DEFEAT THE RAVAGING ZOMBIES, THEN DEFEATED THE MASTER CRIMINAL (STILL UNAWARE OF HIS NAME...), AND CONTINUED THROUGH, TO THE ABANDONED HOUSE. WHEN I CAME TO THE DOOR, I HAD TAKEN THE 'STICK', AND I WENT INTO ANOTHER FLASHBACK, APPEARING IN A ROOM, WITH A TABLE, THAT WAS PENETRATED WITH MANY 'STICKS' I CONTINUED TO THE LEFT, THROUGH THE DOOR...COMING INTO A ROOM, AND ABOVE ME, A MAN WITH A LONG BLADE-KNIFE-SWORD, CAME ACROSS A PLANK, AND CONTINUES TO NOT MOVE. I AM THEN ATTACKED BY A FEW MINIATURE SKELLY-ZOMBIES, AND THE OBESE ZOMBIES...AND A FEW CRIMINALS. I HAVE FOUGHT OFF A FEW, AND THEY JUST CONTINUE TO KEEP COMING. WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS... (1), DO I CONTINUE TO FIGHT, UNTIL I AM RELIEVED TO ANOTHER FLASHBACK... (2), IS THERE A RIDDLE, OR CONTRAPTION I MUST FIND AND ACTIVATE IN THIS ROOM... (3), DO I FIGHT THEM OFF, AND CONTINUE ON TO FIGHT THE NEMESIS, THAT IS STANDING ABOVE ME ON THE SECOND FLOOR...? ALL ANSWERS WILL BE VERY HELPFUL. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. RPGWAR

Believe me this is one of the annoying parts of the game and the most challenging parts of the game.

Here are the answers.

1. Yes you continue fighting and no the won't be a flashback.
2. No there is no riddle or contraption.
3. What you must do is fight all the enemies that attack you on the ground until the nemesis jumps down and you fight him then he will jump up onto the second level once he does that the ladder behind that shelf becomes available then climb the ladder and then you face him for the last time.
