How many hostages does the Riddler have? Do I need all 440 trophies to get to the last hostage?

There are four hostages (they grant an achievement each for saving them) plus all the people you save by catching the Riddler himself in his hideout.
And no, you don't need to have all 440 collectibles, 400 are enough to get to his hideout.

There are 4 Hostages. The first one when I started the Riddler's Revenge which is already given.
The 2nd was already given.
The 3rd,4th and the last ones you have to find trophies, secrets and finish the challenges.
There are 440 of the Riddler's secrets, but when I did it you only have to find 400
