Easiest way to kill these aliens are a weapon combo of a Shotgun and Needler. You have to be careful at all times with these. What I've found to be the easiest is to get in front of them so they'll charge you. Run a bit and jump right over them as they try to strike. Immediately turn and unload a few shotgun shells or a Needler explosion into their exposed backs. Keep your distance, though. They can turn to strike you down before you even know what hit you. Allow enough distance for them to turn and repeat the charging process.
