Is there a way to play split screen on splinter cell?

If so how do you do it.

On Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow? No, I don't think so... You either have to play system link or Xbox live.

However, you can play split screen CO-OP mode on the third game, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

That is quite odd, considering that I have the game and on the back of the box and it says 1 to 4 players in a green box. Is this some kind of typo or is it some kind of unlockable mode? I would have to say that I don't see a splitscreen multiplayer but having it would be sweet.

I think it was a "typo". The original release said 1-4 in the green box, where as on the greatest hits release it only says "Players 1". I put typo in quotes, simply because I am cynical and do not trust Ubisoft.

I doubt ubisoft would deliberately lie outright like that, and risk destroying their reputation.

By "Multiplayer", they mean online.
