How do I launch the rocket gnomes at the shiny things lab....i tried throwing a party but I still couldnt launch

After you make the gnome rocket's set them up out side like in the sandy part of the yard then while the party is going on go up too them and light them and they will come up with the saying can you light all five at once then you click on five of them and then you will have the goal done hope I helped
