At what stage in the game do you unlock the mitsubishi lancer/evo? Please could someone let me know . Thanks

The only way is to get to the last "Island" and win the race to unock it.

Wen you move on to the final island, you do a canyon duel against a lancer for one of the races, wen you beat him you unlock it.

It is on the Journeyman Edge race in Darius's area.
