OK, so this is MY answer to MY question. I just needed to figure out a method instead of the advised "mashing" chaos. It can be simple, if anyone is wondering. I went to the bottom of the tower of evermore in the forest, turned off my ID so the three Flame Demons there would target me and not it, then walked around until one of the demons dove at me. When one did, I tap Black to target, then the quick uppercut (X then A, or Att then Jmp fast! I drag my thumb over the two buttons as fast I can), then, giving that the uppercut worked, tap A (jump) to douple-jump and keep you in the air with him, then B (steal). I got in the habit of pressing these two last buttons after EVERY attempt at a quick uppercut. Remember, folks, there are two types of uppercut. The one above, and the slower but stronger uppercut done by simply pressing X (attack) while still blocking.

There are other methods I discovered put to print, but this is the one that, after a few refining touches, works for me.

castlevania freak answered:

Another way is to get a mage type i.d. And have time stop on command so you can use it at will. Lock on to the demon and guard or dodge when it swoops down at you to slash. As soon as it does, block or dodge and immediately use time stop. Then, simply waly up to it and uppercut it once and stay right next to it but don't attack any more and wait for time stop to wear off. When it does, time your jump so you are in the air just as the demon is, then simply steal out of mid air.

Nobleman of Madness answered:

Or else you can do the oposite. First use the uppercut and then time stop (you'll have to train a little for a right timing). The demon will be there, just waiting for you steal him.

Wrong it worked. Wait till they attack, upper cut, time stop and then stand near when the time stop shatters that's when you jump and steal.
Nobleman of Madness answered:

Or you can do the opposite. First use the uppercut and then time stop (you will have to train a little for get the right timing). When you do so, the demon will be there, just waiting for you steal him.

Guest answered:

time stop when daemon is attacking low, one uppercut(don't forget to switch ID into guard mode,it could kill the daemon),form the moment display cracks count 1 second, doublejump at second 2 and press stael at second 3.don't be hasty it will work when you do it in 3 seconds
