WRC: Generations Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you need to listen to your co-driver and why it is crucial to have the correct tires on your car.

  • Remap your Controllers Buttons
  • Remapping your controller's buttons so you play how you want to play is something you should do regardless if you are a new or seasoned player. WRC: Generations is an unforgiving game that will punish you if you mess up so it is crucial that you adjust the settings to become as comfortable with your setup as possible.

  • Prepare Before Each Race
  • Before you begin a race in WRC: Generations you are told the conditions of the race and the shape of the track you will be competing on. It is important that you take each of these things into consideration, so you can select the correct car and adapt it accordingly. You will win more races if you spend time looking at each car and selecting the one best suited for the race.

  • Take Advantage of the Assists
  • If you are new to WRC games it is recommended that you begin by taking advantage of the assists the game offers which have been designed to make the race more manageable for new players. WRC: Generation features plenty of different cars, and they all drive differently and by using the assists feature you will be able to transfer your skills from car to car. It is recommended that you use the assists to experiment with the different cars and then invest time customizing the ones you like the most.

  • Listen to your Co-Driver
  • WRC: Generations is unlike most other racing games in that it doesn't have a default map on screen you can use as a guide when you race around the track. In this game you have to rely on the instruction's of your co-driver as to what is coming up and how to approach situations. It is therefore crucial that you always pay attention to what the co-driver says and react accordingly as quickly as possible.

  • Take Turns Strategically
  • Turns in WRC: Generations can be tricky, and although your co-driver will give an indication before every turn as to what type of turn it is you still need to take into consideration the terrain you are driving on. As a rule of thumb it is recommended that you don't rely on braking when racing on uneven terrain and instead if the turn is not too sharp simply take your foot off the gas to slow down and ensure you have control all around the turn. If it is a sharp turn you need to navigate then you should brake to slow down when you approach the turn and then reset yourself once you are out of it.

  • Correct Tires is Crucial
  • WRC: Generations lets you select up to ten different types of tires for a rally, and it is crucial that you pick the correct ones for the race. This means ensuring you have the right tires available for the weather conditions you are facing, failing to service your car with the right tires will mean finding yourself facing a treacherous track where you risk spinning out at every turn.
