World on Fire Cheats and Tips

World on Fire is a strategy game where you build WWII-era tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery, and then team up with friends to save the world from destruction. You will need to manage your resources and research new technologies to keep your army in top shape. You will also need to research new alien tech to open up access to super weapons that includes mech assaults. Cheats, Tips and Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include what to upgrade and how to collect resources.

Keep Busy

Make sure that something is always getting done and that your builders are never idle. Fortify your base, upgrade your Hospital, improve the production of resources by levelinng up your steel factories and farms, increase the level of your Command Center and constantly researching new technology are some of the things you should always be working.

Follow the Main Missions

It is advised that you tackle the missions the game recommends first. These will be your main missions and following them will lead you down the general progression route that will enusure your base has the latest facilities and upgrades. These missions will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen and can be completed in any order.

The Command Center

The important thing to remember when upgrading is that the highest level your buildings can reach is based on your Command Center's level. This is also the structure that takes longest to build so make sure you don't neglect it as doing so will slow down your overall progress.

Collect Resources

The Arms Factory is a building where you can manufacture gear for your Commander to give your units a boost. Whenever everything is busy at your base send out any troops remaining to nearby Refineries, Power Plants, Smelters, or Farms to collect their respective resources so they can be used at the Arms Factory. Make sure when you do this your base is not under an imminent threat as your troops will not be around to defend it.

Developmental Skills

At the start of the game it is advised that you focus on boostinng your Development skills as they will help you progress through the stages of building up your base faster. Basically, your aim is to produce resources as fast as you can so you can so you can recruit additional troops to send out to collect more resources to upgrade your structures. Also by having plenty of troops you will be able to recover from losses much quicker.

Barracks

Leveling up your Barracks will enable you to unlock additional units. You will unlock a new tier when your Barracks reaches level 4 and then a new one every 3 levels until your reach level 30. You will discover that every unit you unlock will have a special trait, you can check to see what this is by going to the 'Recruit' screen and then selecting the unit by tapping the icon on the top right of the screen just below the 'Artillery' button. To check the various information about your units you can either go to your Barracks and select 'Details' followed by the 'More Info' button or alternately visit the 'Recruit' screen.

Defeat Rebels

Rebels are neutral units that can be found on the map which will give you various rewards such as Experience, or crates with Resources or Materials to build Equipment when you defeat them.

Join an Army

Consider joining an army, arimies are the guild of the game and joining one will give you a 200 gold bonus. Being part of an army will enable you to co-operate with other players so that you can help each other speed up queue times, send troops to each others aid, and share tech research. The amount of time you can do this is based on your Embassy's level.
