Useful Keyboard Shortcuts

Below you will find a list of the most useful keyboard shortcuts on Windows computers:

CTRL+Z: Undo
CTRL+X: Cut (cutting removes whatever it is you are hoping to paste, whereas copy leaves it in the old location)
CTRL+C: Copy
CTRL+V: Paste
CTRL+N: New (opens a new Window, new document etc.)
CTRL+O: Open
CTRL+P: Print
CTRL+F: Find
CTRL+A: Select All
ALT+F4: Close Window
CTRL+T: New Tab
CTRL+SHIFT+T: Open Last Tab (this opens the most recently closed tab in most internet browsers)
CTRL+D: Add to Favorites
CTRL+SHIFT+ESCAPE: Task Manager (use this to end an unresponsive program)
CTRL+ALT+DELETE: Start Screen (use this if your computer becomes unresponsive or if you need to end a program that has stopped working).
CTRL+L: Lock Computer
