When you complete the following tasks the corresponding weapon for Impa will become unlocked.

Rank 1 Giant Blade - 'Giant's Knife':

Unlock Impa

Rank 1 Naginata - 'Guardian Naginata':

Complete the Adventure mode stage at square 9 right, 7 down.

Rank 2 Giant Blade - 'Biggoron's Knife':

In Legend mode stage 5a 'The Land of Myth', capture the East Boulder Keep, then open the chest that appears.

Rank 2 Naginata - 'Scorching Naginata':

On the Adventure mode stage at square 11 right, 7 down, use a Candle on the lower of the middle two trees on the right, then complete the stage with an 'A' rank.

Rank 3 Giant Blade - 'Biggoron's Sword':

On the Adventure mode stage at square 1 right, 3 down, use a Digging Mitts on the 'X' mark, then complete the stage with an 'A' rank.

Rank 3 Naginata - 'Sheikah Naginata':

On the Adventure mode stage at square 15 right, 4 down, use a Water Bomb on the rock in the water, then complete the stage with an 'A' rank.
