Skip Fortress and Free Ship

Skip the Fortress:

During gameplay press pause just before you reach the Fortress part of the game. Then Resume the game and you will be able to move past the Fortress without having to fight it.

Unlock Free Ship:

After the spinning walls you will come to a lake. Drop bombs into the lake and a flag with an 'S' on it will come up. Fly over the flag to unlock the ship.
