1. About this guide
=================================
Hello fellow wandoliers! This guide is to help out with the four collection
quests available once you complete the main quests on Capital Island, Rocket
Reef and Cutopia. This is NOT a walkthrough, scroll or essence location guide.

2. Collection Quests
=================================
There are four collection quests available once you complete the main quests
on the following islands: Capital Island, Rocket Reef and Cutopia. To tell if
you have completed the main quests on the islands, the sun will set and it will
become night. Lyndsay and Buddy will normally say something along the lines of
being tired or sleepy, and the local Sims will stand about yawning or head home
to sleep.
If you hang around on the islands long enough once it has become night, day
will eventually break and a regular day/night cycle will run for the remainder
of the game on that island.
If you want to fast forward time, find a bed (or just make one, you have the
POWAH) and instead of choosing the nap option when next to one, choose "Sleep
till day" (if it's currently night) or "Sleep till night" (if it's currently
day). The "Sleep till day/night" options are only available once you have
completed the main quests on the island. If you haven't, only the "Nap" option
is available. From what I can tell, day and night have no effect on the chances
of collectables or essences appearing.
To give a quest item to a Sim, stand by them and talk. To give multiple items,
you have to talk to them for each individual item (sorry, no fast way to give
all flowers in one go). For each collectable you give, the Sim will reward you
with many of one type of essence.
This guide will cover the four collection quests: who gives the quest, where
to find the collectables in question and the end quest rewards.
2.1 Fish
========
QUEST NAME: A Fishy Proposition
AVAILABLE AFTER: Completing the quest "Inside Barney's House"
WHICH ISLAND?: Capital Island
WHICH SIM?: Barney Cull
REQUEST: Find and give all 24 fish from around the kingdom
END REWARD: Octopus Hat now available in the Costume Corner
The special thing about Barney's quest, is that fish are both a collectable as
well as an essence (the stuff needed for scroll completion). When collecting
fish, make sure you have AT LEAST one more than needed as you need to hand
ONE to Barney and the rest can go towards completing your scrolls. Fish can be
found by fishing (funnily enough), but some can also be obtained by weeding.
Octopus can be found by washing hands.
Weeds are the little tuffs of grass with fluffy dandelion heads. You can pull
these out of the ground by hovering your pointer on them, holding the B button
and flicking up the Wii Remote. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAND NEXT TO THEM TO PULL
WEEDS. Why? Read on.
Pulling a weed gives you a tone and one essence. Pulling a second weed a few
seconds after gives you a slightly higher tone and two essences of a different
variety. Pulling a third gives you an even higher tone and a different essence
and a fourth gives a high tone, a little tune and another different type of
essence. Depending on which island you are on will determine what essences and
fish are produced. Refer to the table below to find which island and which weed
will produce the fish you are after.

2.2 Figurines
=============
QUEST NAME: Figuring Figurines
AVAILABLE AFTER: Completing the quest "Build the Rocket"
WHICH ISLAND?: Rocket Reef
WHICH SIM?: Vic Vector
REQUEST: Find and give all 32 figurines
END REWARD: No reward... but you can put all these figurines in your house or
yard at your Reward Island
This section will list the figurines in alphabetical order and where to find
them. This collection quest is the longest and the methods of acquiring figures
are varied. Figures are found via weeding, prospecting, fishing, opening chests
interacting with items and completing secondary quests. These methods, with the
exception of quest completion, have a SMALL chance of producing a figurine.
Weeds are the little tuffs of grass with fluffy dandelion heads. You can pull

essence. Depending on which island you are on, any of the second, third or
fourth weeds have a small chance of producing a figurine instead of an essence.
So get weeding!
Secondary quests are only available once you reach Level 4 of your King Points.
The blue banner on the top left of your screen shows your current level and the
required number of King Points to progress to the next level.
At level 4, King Roland will send a message that the Sims you have previously
helped require your assistance again. This indicates that on all islands that
you have COMPLETED the main quests on (meaning the day/night cycle is running),
you can return for additional building and socialising quests. On islands that
the main quest is still happening, their secondary quests will not become
available till you have completed the main quests and the day/night cycle
begins.

END REWARD: Poppy: "I LOVE YOU!" I think the reward is clothes in Modern
Apparel. There's a summer flower skirt and a flower shirt with shorts and
thongs. Not sure about males as I've only finished this game as a female.
This section will list the flowers in alphabetical order and where to find
them. To pick the flower, stand next to them and select the "Inspect" option
when it appears. There is only ONE special flower on each island except Capital
Island and your Reward Island.
