Easy Money walkthrough � By Hansikins

Summary:
This is my version of an easy way to have ultimate riches by year two of harvest moon, 
I own everything on this walkthrough and it is (as far as I know of O_O) totally my idea, 
hopefully this will help ^_^

Starting Off:
We all know the frustration of starting off with such little money! Well after you have 
introduced yourself and completed the tutorial head straight for the mine district. Go past 
the blacksmiths to a cut scene where you should meet Owen, he will give you a hammer. Then go 
to the mine. As you go down the levels collect all of the mushrooms and toadstools. Level 19 
has loads of them on so make sure you stop by, then when you get to level 25 mine as many of 
the crystals as you can, making sure you stop before you pass out and before it becomes 3.00am. 
Once you have run out of energy or time collect all of the wonderfuls that are sparkling, and 
if you have spare room in your rucksack, any others. If you collected non sparkly ores put them 
into the shipping bin also sell all of your toadstools. Then go to your house and go to sleep.


Second Day: 
As soon as you get up go to the mine district, then go to the praline woods, you will receive 
the cut scene of Luke. Then pick up all of the herbs and berries on the ground, take them and
 put them and the mushrooms left from yesterday into your tools box. Then, go to the maple Lake 
District; go to the graveyard where you will meet Mira. Then go back to the Mine district and go 
to Ramsey�s Blacksmiths, go to Mira and click on Refine your wonderfuls. Then take your refined
 wonderfuls and put them into the shipping bin. Then, go to the mine, get to level 9 and mine all 
of the boulders, collect all of the ores that are left. Then, continue to level 19 and pick 
up all of the mushrooms and toadstools, then go back out of the mine. Place all of the toadstools
 and mushrooms collected today into the shipping bin and go to your house. Sleep. When you wake 
up, if you have 1500 G and it�s not a Monday, go to the town (skip to paragraph titled �General 
store�) otherwise, place your ores into the toolbox and continue collecting ores and wonderfuls
 (steps 1 and 2) until you do have 1500.


General Store:
Once you reach the town, go to the general store; buy a cutting board for 1500G. Then go back to 
your house, go to the bedside table and click on furniture, place your cutting board in your house. 
Then get out all the herbs and mushrooms in your toolbox (except the blue herbs), go to the cutting 
board, place one herb one mushroom in and click go, you will make marinated mushrooms, each one of
 these sells for 300G. Everyday, go to the praline woods and collect all of the herbs, take them
 back and make marinated mushrooms,(using all but the blue herbs), also go down the mine and collect 
all the shiny ore from boulders and all of the toadstools and mushrooms, always refine any shiny
 wonderfuls you collect and refine the shiny ores, sell all of your mushrooms and toadstools except 
when you run out of mushrooms for the marinade, store them. Sell any very berries or blueberries you collect.


Upgrading tools:
When you have 1000G and some refined iron, go to Ramsey�s blacksmiths and speak to Ramsey, click 
upgrade tools, and upgrade your hammer to an iron hammer. This will make you use less energy when 
you use your hammer meaning you can collect more sparkly ores and wonderfuls.
When you then have 2500G and some refined copper repeat this to get a copper hammer.
When you eventually collect 5000G and some refined silver upgrade your hammer to silver.
(Remember at each of these steps making money is easier, you may be tired of mining, but it�s the 
easiest way of making good money.) 
Finally when you have collected 10,000 G upgrade your hammer to gold.


Dales Carpentry:
When you have collected another 2400G go to the praline woods, Smash the boulders until you collect 10 stone, 
then cut down the trees till you get 10 lumber (note- they do not show up in your inventory, however if you 
check your farm status if will show you but its easier just to count :P) Then, go into Dale�s Carpentry, buy
 a chicken coop. After 3 days it will be build by your house.


Brownie Farm:   
If it�s the beginning of summer brownie farm should be accessible if not carry on collecting money from 
mushroom marinades, ores and wonderfuls until it is. If you have at least 2800G Then go to brownie farm 
district and go into brownie farm. Talk to Hanna, select buy animals and buy a silkworm, buy some feed 
for it, then go to your coop and feed it/them. Every four days they will produce a cocoon, do not sell 
it, and put it into your toolbox. When you have 4500G go to the general store and buy a yarn maker. 
Then you must buy a barn to use the yarn maker. Collect 3000G 12 lumber and 12 stone to buy and build a barn. 
Once it is built, take all of your cocoons and blue herbs and make yarn, then take then and put them
 into the dying pot, each blue silk with make 2100G. 


Total Plan: 
Keep raising money by mining and buy silkworms, for each silkworm you buy you will need to raise a 
certain amount of money by the end of the year.

Do not spend any of this special money!
On the flower festival of spring next year buy as many blue herbs as possible using the special money, you will have enough for the entire year worth of cocoons, and there it is, ultimate riches:
