I am stuck in Winter Keep. I am doing what the video says and it's not getting destroyed like it's supposed to.

Same here Wii right after aura rails and you are suppose to fire crystals three times - you do and it doesn't explode like it's supposed to and you get hosed into a perpetual rainbow rail ride of nothingness
You need the octopus bottom (washbuckler) with the fire type top (blastzone) to explode the gate.
