Well as soon as you start playing the game on the WII(trying to follow Lila's scent at the beginning of the game) the first player is already playing and all you have to do to get the second player to join in is push the + button on the WII remote
On the computer you can play via Keyboard + joystick. Download the x360ce emulator, first device select the keyboard. 2 device select the joystick (works on sony dualshock or download ds4windows for pc first). How to set up x360ce. Go to the game and press START on the gamepad. All 2 players must play at the same time
To play 2 players via keyboard + gamepad, first download the x360ce emulator. 1 device select the keyboard, configure. 2 device select the joystick, configure. (You can click on Auto there the buttons will configure themselves) MANDATORY! On the gamepad assign the "START" button. Go to the game, press start on the gamepad and the second player should join.
P.s. You can play 2 players on one keyboard. Instead of a joystick, select the keyboard again and put different buttons
