Where is the ice cave?

The Ice Caves can be found by following a fairly long quest through Howling Peaks to get to them.

To the Logging Yard
You leave the Chalet and head back down the road to Wyatt Junction (where the mystery machine is parked and Moose's shop is at) You will find the snow plow to the left of the screen. You are going to take the plow as far as you can towards Planks' Logging Yard. You will need Velma to start the plow. It will take you to where you will need to finish the trip on foot. You will navigate a small canyon with hollowed-out log ramps. Follow the path of these ramps until you come to a flat area with wooden fencing. Follow the fence until the area opens up - and then going to the right of the screen, head towards a bridge to cross over (jump the gate arm)into the logging yard. Here you will find the road you need to follow to continue your journey blocked by a stack of logs that will need to be moved by a locked crane.

The Catapult Operation & Getting the Crane Key
Unfortunately Cranky has the crane key inside the logging hut and won't come out and give it to you when you knock on the door. There is a broken catapult nearby and it's 5 missing parts are scattered in easily identifiable places around the yard. Find them and rebuild the catapult (simply toss each part at it) Once the catapult is rebuilt you are going to "Smoke" Cranky out of the hut (he is inside cooking) To do this you are going to close the 4 windows of the hut using the catapult and snowballs.

Operating the Catapult
The way to operate the catapult is to jump on the left pressure pad until the catapult is pointing left as far as it can go. You are aiming the the farthest left window. Place a snowball on the catapult cup and jump on the pressure pad with the bulls-eye. The snowball should hit and close the first window on the left. Now go go to the right pressure pad and jump on it once (moving the catapult just enough to close the next window(KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO BE QUICK WITH ALL THIS OR THE WINDOWS WILL REOPEN) Place your snowball and jump on the bulls-eye Repeat this with the right pressure pad and catapult 2 more times until all 4 windows are closed.

Using the Key
Cranky will come running out from the smoke and while he is doubled over coughing smoke you can go into the hut and on the counter near the stove is the crane key. (there is also a sandwich on the counter to the left don't forget to grab it) Go to the crane, and as usual, Velma will need to unlock it. The crane will move the logs and you can then continue on to the next part of the journey.

(If you haven't caught it before, there is a medallion on an ice float in the water to the left of the catapult (at the bottom of your screen)

Angry Moose
Next you will come into a clearing with a very angry one horned moose. You will need to use the snowballs to remove him. Just keep throwing until he dies. Watch out as if he gets you in his horns it is difficult to get away.

ICE CAVE ENTRANCE
You are now at the entrance to the ice caves. You will see Four large ice structures guarding the entrance, lighting up in a sequenced pattern. You need to hit each structure with a snowball following the order of the lights. Here again you have a time limit. Once you have done this the entrance opens for you.
