I think you should go with a rent card. But thats just me.

Go in with a balanced team with moves that cover as many types as possible. A good starting point is Fire-Water-Grass. Try it out, and tweak it based on performance in battle.

Well, the only advice I can give you is that don't bring powerful Pokemon, because your opponent could use them in battle against you. Bring Pokemon at the same level of your opponent's Pokemon so the battle gets balanced. I have learnt how to select the Pokemon that I want, and I bring powerful Pokemon to neon colosseum now. You just need to adjust your timing and shoot only in one place when selecting the Pokemon to succesfully choose the pokes that you want to use. Hope this helps! Thanks for rating this answer!

you can bring really powerfuf pokemon to use and and the highest level pokemon is the level of each pokemon. Tip: go to end of wheel and when the pokemon you want is straight across from your cursur press a and you get that pokemon.
