No, the game is just like Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2. You can only transfer Pokemon.
No, you can not catch Pokemon, all you do is copy them from Diamond and Pearl.
No you can't BUT there are codes to get electivire and magmortar through mystery gift like the surfing pikachu on pbr
No, you can't catch Pokemon in PBR, like you do in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, but you can copy the pokemom you catch in those games to PBR and you can use them in any battle of the game. Hope this helps! Thanks for rating this answer!
