Ok I'm in the abandoned cavern after the boss I did the scorpian thing I got 8 idoles I need the smash strike and I can't find a shamen HELP!!!!!

If you sprint dash along the side you can jump past that without having to have the smash strike. Note it's VERY HARD TO DO but, POSSIBLE!
When I did it, I pushed the scorpions to the back of the cave then ran and jumped on the vine. On the vine they can’t get to you.
