how do you find a pick axe? no matter what,i cant find it!

You don't 'find' a pickaxe. You get specific materials and have Ussop craft it back at base once you've unlocked him from Fossil Beach. You won't get the Pickaxe until you're nearing Fossil Beach's end just before you fight Dracule Mihawk. It should tell you what materials you need first, in order to locate them.
