Before the second turn, there are three roadblocks on the left hand side of the track. Go through them and you cut one of the turns. For the big turns with boosts on them, you can also cut the inside of the track by drifting into the second boost on each turn and turning sharply left. There is also a shortcut near the start/finish line with boosts in it. Generally, cutting wide corners is an easy way to beat the CPU's as they rarely take the far inside of turns.
