No. It is not true that you can have more than 100 Mii's in the Mii Plaza. I found that out the hard way. Hope this helps out.

You can't have more than 100 miis. If you have 100 and want to make more, just send some to the mii parade. If you ever want them back, you can just go to the mii parade and send them back to the plaza.
