Getting star for Lightning Cup

I'm trying to get a star rank for the Lightning Cup 50cc. I have it for all other 50cc Cups. I completed all 4 races and finished 1st in all of them and only received a B rate. How do I get the star rate for that last cup?

It depends on how you win. If you just scrape a victory it's not as high ranking as winning by 30seconds

Try saying in First as long as you can. Also try not to hit the sides as this does take off points too or falling off the track. Getting hit by weapons is fine.

It's sort of done on a point system. This depends on how long you are in front, how much you win by, and hitting/falling edges. So try and perfect your skills and stay on track, and in front for as long as you can and I'm sure you'll get there. Also when going up too a higher grade such as 150cc, it is easier to earn the one star rank as opposed to lower grade levels..

If you fall off the track, hit the walls, or anything like that, you will automatically lose ranking points. If you can stay in first the entire match, not hit anything, and win by with a good distance between you and the second place person, you will get more points.
