Well hold 'a" button until the countdown reaches 1
Then make a wheelie posem and you will gain a good boost. It will take some time to learn but you will get use to it
Umm lets see if I still remember this.
Hold the Acceleration Button when the Countdown reaches to 2 Hold it.
That should give you a Boost at the start of the Race.
If it didn't work try it, takes some practice to time it right.
Hoped this helped
You press A and hold it til the countdown ends when the 2 changes to one
Hold down the throttle(A) down half of a second after 2 appears, it will give you the best boost
When the 2 is starting to disappear, click and hold the accelerate button until the race starts.
Press A right as the 2 begins to fade. The sooner you press it, the bigger the boost, but if you press it too soon then your engine will blow out and then you will have to accelerate like normal to catch up! It takes a lot of practice, but once you get the rhythm down it becomes second nature.
To get the best boost, simply press A as the two starts to fade. Be careful though, if you press it too early, your engine will backfire. The start of a race usually can make or break a win for you.
Hope I helped,

Press 2 on the Wii Remote as soon as the countdown reaches 2 at the beginning of the race and hold it until it says Go!
