You can not pass the troll. You have to go back into the garden, and take left and jump over the fence and through the door there. The gost will appear and show you a new way

Oh, I get it! If there is anyone who doesn’t understand, let me reword it. When you reach the sleeping guard blocking the doorway, head all the way right through the door on the opposite side. (If it is still locked by the green padlock, using magic, find the key.)Then, take a left and you will find the ghost, who will lead the way!

There are two ways to get past the troll. One is to use a ghost character and go through him (I think. I haven't tested it yet Smile. An easy ghost to unlock is The Fat Friar in the Hufflepuff Common Room). Or, an easier way:
1.Go all the way to the right and through the doorway. This will lead you into the Divination Courtyard.
2.Once in the courtyard, head into the covered walkway and use the tunnel to the left. This will lead you to the upper right-hand corner of the clock tower courtyard (with the fountain in the middle).
3.Head downwards until you reach the passageway at the bottom right-hand corner. This will lead you to the Clocktower Corridor, which is where the passageway that the troll is blocking would have lead you.
