'Level max' means you cannot get to any higher levels and that you have got to the highest level there can possibly be.

Level max is not a hard level, it is just that you finished all the levels on the game! good work though

Level Max means you have attained the highest Mojo level, and thus cannot unlock anymore non-DLC gifts

Is there a way to reset the game?

Depending on your System, (Wii U/Wii) You can easily go to data management and delete your save data to reset it but it will remove everything tho. So any dancer cards will be deleted. As for Xbox, I don't know.
