Hi just bought my daughters the guitar for wii and world tour and dam guitar wont work all lights are blue on guitar as well as on usb any help would be so great cheers

Make sure the Wii remote is connected and facing downwards while in the peripheral. If the controller itself is not connecting to the Wii, perform a remote re-connect by pressing the red button on the Wii (it's top of the SD card slot) and then the red button that's in the controller's battery compartment.
