How do you reach another level I beat the first 3 missions and it wont let me go to level 2

I would have to say that your game is stuffed up. That or you haven't done something that you were supposed to do.
You didn't do well enough to move up a level by the sound of it. You know your not doing so well when at the end of a mission part you hear "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?".
