There is a trick. You shake the tree, run far away as fast as you can, pull out your net quickly by pressing the UP button on the wii remote, and turn around and catch it as soon as it gets really close to you. Hope I helped!
I haven't caught one either but I've heard that you shake the tree and if it has bees, run north and then press up on the D-pad to bring your net out. Then you just need to catch at the right time. Using this method is much easier than running in any direction.
Well the theory for running north may not always work if your already at the northern part of the map I would suggest running in whatever direction is away from the end of the map
The bees are FAST so I suggest shaking trees near houses or buildings and running right to them when you see the honey-comb if you don't want to be stung. Wait inside for a while and then when you come out the bees will be gone. Also, if you DO get stung, either buy some medicine from Tom Nook's store, or, the FREE way, just sign out and when you sign back in, voila! You won't have a bee sting anymore! If you want to CATCH them, run, then get your net, turn around, and POW, hit your net down on them. I hoped this helped! Good Luck!!!
