Help with mulitple players and doing Tom Nook's greeting people!

I bought the game and I made my account and then my sister made an account few hours after and then I left and she passed me and when I tried to tell Tom Nook that I was done greeting people, because I was, and he said that I had to go introduce myself to the new person (whose my sister) but I can't, because everytime I play, she's asleep, therefore I can't talk to her and introduce her. How can her and I be up at the same time?

Have you timed traveled? Or maybe, a new person came to your town and you didn't know. Try greeting every person by their house on your map, and then make sure you go to the town hall and say hi to the Mayor. If you have to, rebuild your town, finish the tutorial, then let your sister move in :/

Yeah what sundaver said my sister(15yearsold)time traveled and talked to every personthen coco moved in she had to greet her too(she met torimer to)
