When Niki appears in the level hold D-pad Up + 2 to get 5 lives.

Hold D-pad Up + 2 + Minus + Plus to view these features.
Invincibility
Niki will become invincible for 3 minutes if you hold Plus + B + 1 in Motion Control Style for 5 seconds and then press 'Plus' to exit the 'Pause' screen.
