How do you beat the garfield game level 6

You have to do the correct move as the star lines up with the red box above Garfield's head. I noticed after doing it a few times, the pattern was always the same each time.

L=left button, R=right button
Left, right, down, up are on the directional pad
The rest are the other buttons.
So here is the order for each combination, they get longer and faster as you keep completing them.

L
L, right
Left, right, B
Right, left, down, B
Down, B, L, right, left
Left, right, B, down, L
L, R, down, right, left, B
Y, L, down, right, B, R
Y, L, down, right, B, R, left
