Build a Base
Your first priority in We Were Here Forever is to get a home base set up as quickly as possible, so you have a safe haven you can retreat to when things get tough in order to replenish your health and play around with the contents of your inventory.
Grab the Knife
At the start of We Were Here Forever you will be able to add some items to your inventory. Make sure you grab the knife as this is the most useful item on offer. It can be used as a weapon, and also as a way to gather other resources.
Explore New Areas
Explore the area you are in when you find yourself lost in We Were Here Forever. If you do not explore the new area you have ended up in it may result in you ending up further lost and in a bigger mess as you will likely end up picking a random direction to go rushing off into instead of the route back to the main path.
