Warriors Orochi 4 was originally released in Japan as Muso Orochi 3. It is a 3D third-person, weapon-based, melee tactical action game that is the fifth installment of the crossover series Warriors Orochi, which is a combination of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series.
Warriors Orochi 4 has new magic elements and an all new story that is told over 70 missions, spread out over 5 chapters, each of which capturing the essence of ancient mythology. There are 170 playable characters, many of which are from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series.
