Warhammer: Chaosbane is set in the Old World of the Warhammer lore shortly after The Great War Against Chaos and you will be able to visit locations such as the cursed city of Praag and Nuln.

You can play as an Imperial Soldier, High Elf Mage, Slayer, or Wood Elf Scout and the objective is to explore, develop your character, and fight hordes of monsters using a system that focuses on both your character's statistics and your skills.

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include healing and where to get the best loot. We also have a Beginner Guide which will help you in the game.

• Save your Fragments

  Try to save the Fragments you collect from completing quests as they can be used for reviving yourself if you fall in combat and also to acquire God Skills once you have reached level 15 and unlocked the God Skill tree. • Change the Difficulty Setting

  As you progress and your equipment gets better you may want to consider increasing the difficulty setting of the game as doing so will increase your chance of getting higher-quality loot. • Blessing your Equipment

  Blessing your characters' equipment is basically the process of upgrading it using Fragments. When you perform a Blessing on your equipment using Fragments you will be getting a better quality version of it. It is advised that you do this later in the game when you have Heroic quality equipment.

• Expeditions

  Once you have defeated the boss at the end of a chapter you will unlock Expeditions, these are missions that send you to randomly generated dungeons where you can search for powerful loot. These Expeditions also have Events that occasionally appear that give you the opportunity to acquire rewards such as experience points.

• Use the Healing Potion

  Use the healing potion that is always in your inventory whenever you need to heal your character. The healing potion never runs out, you just have to wait for your health potion's cool-down effect until you can use it again. • Finding the Best Loot

  Once you have completed the main campaign you will be able to get the best loot by playing the Relic Hunt game mode and fighting through the higher-tier Grand Relic Maps.

• Remember to Equip Gear

  As there is no auto-equip option you need to make sure as you progress through the game you manually open your inventory and equip your character with the best items you have so they always have the best build possible.

• Respawning

  Don't worry too much about your characters dying as you will be given the option of respawning them at the spot they fell in exchange for a set amount of gold coins or Fragments. You won't have much problem obtaining either resource during gameplay as both are plentiful.
