Learn the Maps
Make sure you become familiar with the maps, learn where the key chokepoints are as the game tends to funnel players into particular lanes of play. Also make a note where the best elevation vantage points are on each map so you can take advantage of them when you enter their area.
Aim for the Head
Always go for a headshot whenever possible as this will increase your combat effectiveness by enabling you to eliminate the enemy fast. One or two headshots will take down any enemy you encounter.
Bring Out your Knife
You can substantially increase your speed at any point by bringing out your knife. Keep this in mind when you need to reach key crucial points at the start of rounds.
Reload Faster
If you run out of ammunition you will find it a lot quicker to switch to a secondary weapon than to reload. If you are close enough to an unsuspecting enemy you can use your knife for an instant stealth attack.
