If you're on latest patch, select the things with poppit, press square and select copy. (if it doesnt show, press O a bunch and try again) Then drag it around and press x a bunch.
If you're not on latest patch you need to save the object to "my objects" and then you can place copies. Open poppit menu, select goodies, scroll to right til My Objects. Select save to myobjects function. And select the thing to copy. Now it shows up in your inventory. Place it somewhere free of obstructions
