Earning Points
When you collect survivors, kill enemies on foot and in space, and break glass on foot and in space you will earn points.
Earning XP
When you meet the targets set for each level you will earn XP to unlock further levels. The following are used to indicate when a target has been achieved for each level.
Speed
Bronze, Silver or Gold medal for speed.
Points
Stars are used for number of points accrued.
Rescues
Stripes are used for number of rescues.
Rekenium Shards
Crystals are used for number of Rekenium shards.
'Perfect'
Meet ALL top targets in one attempt without dying for a 'Perfect'.
Rifle
Once you have unlockd the rifle make sure you only use it for horizontal firing. Although you can aim and fire 360 degrees with the weapon doing so is way too slow and you will not be able to sprint and 360 degree fire at the same time.
Flashing Screen
Whenever the screen flashes it is prompting you to drop a long-range teleportation pod. Even if you miss the prompt it is good practice to lay a teleportation pod down whenever you see a fork in the path.
On-Foot Stages
Resist the temptation of sprinting through the on-foot stages until you have really got the hang of the controls. It is more beneficial to go back and master this aspect of gameplay.
