Introduction

Aliens: Colonial Marines, what is there to say about this? Quite a bit, in fact. It's a great game to play by yourself or with friends. You can play the thrilling Co-Op, or mess around in the other modes.

This game was gifted to me with all DLCs, so this review will also be my opinion on those.

Graphics

Graphics, the way the game looks. This game isn't ugly, but it isn't beautiful. The reason it stop me from giving it a 7, is the fine detail. In the end, I don't care if it looks like MineCraft or The Sims 3, I mainly care about the amount of detail.

Sound

In my opinion, the sound is one of the most important things a game must have. If a game has no sound, it's not a game. Aliens: Colonial Marines is perfect. Each character has a voice actor, including the main protagonist. Every word matches the subtitles and every explosion, footstep, object moving is heard, and in higher quality then some other games I know of,

Gameplay

In games, gameplay is everything. I don't like First-Person Shooters, more shooters in general, but this game must be something special for me to play over 50 hours of it. The game keeps you on your feet. You've finally solved one problem, but then another problem emerges. Each episode leaves you on a cliff-hanger, so you want to play the next episode immediately.

Lastability

This is the game's weakest point. It only lasts for a certain amount of time. Once you've played the campaign and the other modes, you're pretty much done. There's nothing else to keep you excited. There's no level editors to make your own levels and play others. Once you've played it, you're done.

Overall

This is the average number from all the scores combined. Although I was lucky to get the Aliens: Colonial Marines collection, I would have still got this if it were on sale. I've seen physical copies of this flying around, so see if a store near you has it at a good price.
