There are three draw modes.
One draw mode: When in a level (not in the town), there are certain places where you have to color in a template in order to complete the level. That is one of the draw modes.
Another draw mode is when you are editing your character or ammunition shooter. To get to this one, push start when in a level. There you will see a square/rectangle box with some words in it. On either side of that you will see two circles with your character's face/ your ammunition shooter inside the circles. Undernieth the circles, you will see the word "edit". Tap either circle to edit what is in the circle.
The third draw mode is in your town. There is a building where you can edit your characters, make new ones (same game; no progress is lost), etc.

There should be people of team aqua that you have to fight and win against. That should get rid of the blocked enterence. Or the person blocking the enterence might be the one you have to battle. It has been so long since I got to that point that I can't really remember that much.

Either you have to win battles, level up alot, or buy them via pay pal. That is how you get gems.

U have to buy the dark dragon to get it. U also have to b a certain level.
