After failing to pay taxes and getting evicted from your home, you must go on an epic quest to pay back your massive debt to Mayor Onion. This will involve entering dungeons full of puzzles, enemies and rare treasures to pay back your debt.
The video below is a full walkthrough and achievement guide for Tunip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. As for achievements, a lot are for basically finding, collecting and ripping up different pieces of paper, from receipts to documents and more. You find them after doing side quests, or in bins etc, basically everywhere. We need 9 hats, from side quests again, 9 heart fruits, story based ones and a few missables as well. You can revisit any point at any time even after the game ends as everything will be open.

Where to Find the Hats
Listed below are the locations where you can find all the hats in Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion
Sunhat
Speak with the blueberry in the northeast corner of Veggieville. Grow the flower behind him and deliver it to the strawberry that can be found to the south of him. Then talk to the florist again who will now give you the hat.
Crown
At the start of the Bustling Barn after beating King Pig talk to slayQueen32, and she will give you the hat.
Hardhat
After beating King Pig, talk to the beet in the winding hallway in the Bustling Barn where you had to avoid some snails. He will ask you to bring some wood for him in the alleyway in Layer Lane. Speak to the blueberry to get some wood and then return it to the beet you spoke with to get this hat.
Fedora
After beating the Forsaken Farmhouse, talk to the Pickled Gang in the ice box who will ask you to get them a hammer, so they can break out. Head to the alleyway in Layer Lane and talk to the carrot there. Bring the hammer back and the Pickled Gang will give you the fedora.
Explorer Hat
Once you have the green goop in the Forgotten Forest, speak with Annie to get the hat.
Tophat
Dig up a grave on the top left of the first section of the Grim Graveyard with your sword to get the hat.
Bird
Speak with Tots once you complete the Grim Graveyard to inform him about Pops in the ice box of Forsaken Farmhouse. He will give you a letter which you need to bring to Pops in the ice box for another letter. Return the letter to Tots in the graveyard to be rewarded with this hat.
Farmer Hat
To get this hat you need to bring Pops' (Idle Icebox) letter to Tots' (Grim Graveyard) and return to Pops.
Scissors
This hat can be obtained by picking up the hair dye in the room to the right of the kitchen in Bomb Bunker and return it to the barber carrot in Layer Lane.
Sunhat

To get this hat you need to bring Pops' (Idle Icebox) letter to Tots' (Grim Graveyard) and return to Pops.
Scissors
This hat can be obtained by picking up the hair dye in the room to the right of the kitchen in Bomb Bunker and return it to the barber carrot in Layer Lane.
How to Defeat the Stag Boss
The Stag boss is one of the most difficult bosses to defeat in the Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion due to it's ability to spawn bunnies out of the bushes. Make sure when you fight this boss you try and leave one bunny alive because once they are all dead the boss will summon more to replace them which is something you want to avoid happening. Dodge the boss whenever it charges you and don't get hit by the large projectile it fires at you every time it stops moving.
As there is acid all over the outside you will not be able to chase the boss with your sword, the only exception is if the boss gets stunned on the northern side. Don't worry about not being able to use your sword, it is more effective if you use the boombloom in the center of the room. Although you can use portals, you will have more success if you try and lure the boss in a straight line with boomblooms. Keep watering the boomblooms and kicking them towards the boss until it dies. During this boss fight you will be able to kill bunnies and cut the bushes down to gain extra health which you will probably need. Focus your attention on defeating the boss and only kill the bunnies when they get close.

How to Solve the Lying Pumpkin Puzzle
This is the fourth puzzle in Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and needs to be solved in order to open the bunker in the forest. Go to the cemetery and talk to the potato, so you open the gate. Then speak to the pumpkin inside the cemetery who will tell you the rules for the puzzle.
Pumpkins are either lying or telling the truth about both facts: Which direction you should take, and whether their neighbor pumpkin is either truthful or a liar. Basically, if 2 pumpkins tell you to go in the same direction, then you know at least 1 of them is a liar - this also tells you that this direction is a lie too. So both pumpkins must be lying. The directions you need to take is: Up, Left, Up Right Up. Once you are in the final room, just hit the grave in the middle with your sword, and you will get a golden shovel. If you then talk to the potato at the entrance of the cemetery again and exchange his shovel for your golden shovel you will be able to hit any grave in the cemetery and get a top hat.

How to Unlock and Defeat the Secret Boss
In order to complete the game 100% you need to unlock and defeat the secret boss. You will not be able to fight this boss until you have found all the tax documents hidden around the map and ripped them up. You can check to see which ones you still have left to find by opening the menu and scrolling down the list of documents. Any documents that are labeled with '???' have yet to be found, and you will want to go back to that area of the map to locate it.
Once you have ripped up all the documents the cave that was previously blocked by guards in Rocky Ramp will now be unlocked and inside there will be a cat who will give you riddles to the whereabouts of any missing hats or artifacts. If you have them all you will find a heart container in the cave instead. You will now be able to unlock the secret boss by beating Mayor Onion again after the final credits have rolled.
Once you accomplished this, Mayor Onion will ascend, blowing up the nuclear bomb hidden in the basement of your greenhouse and becoming 'God Onion'. To defeat him you must kick bombs toward him while at the same time maneuvering away from the onslaught of attacks from him and his three IRS members. Once you have defeated the God Onion boss you will have completed the game 100%.
