Overtake on the Straights

Resist the temptation of overtaking another bike by diving down the inside by being late on the brakes as you will more often than not find yourself crashing into the barriers and totaling your bike. The easiest and safest way to overtake in TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 is to sit in the slipstream of the bike in front and make your move on one of the straighter sections of the track.

Master the Throttle

Being able to balance the throttle is crucial for maintaining a high speed through some sections of the track. When at the end of a long straight you approach a corner that is not too tight it is far easier to keep control of the bike by letting go of the power for a split-second while you navigate the corner rather than hitting the brakes which can increase your chances of crashing substantially.

Use Assists

If you are not familiar with bike racing games it is recommended that you use the various assists TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 offers in order to help you get to grips with the handling and speed of the game. The dynamic racing line assist in particular is an absolute must to have enabled as it helps to judge the braking distance into a corner and taking the fastest line around the course.

Control the Bike

It is crucial that you try to keep the bike as steady as possible at all times as doing so will make it much more controllable. Too much input will unsettle the bike causing you to crash whereas little input will enable you to keep much more control. It is important that you maintain control of the bike at all times as it will improve stability in the faster sections of the track and help you considerably when you need to get around slow-speed corners.
