Full Review for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen by Lord_of_Pie

Introduction

I must begin saying that I have never played such a terrible game in all my life. This game would anger any real Transformers fan. If you want real action and fun out of a game about fighting robots, I would say you could have more fun playing Go-Bots.

Graphics

The graphics were just terrible. First of all, nothing was at all accurate as far as size goes. Second, it looked like the artists spent more time drinking than they did on the art. Third, there was no real attention payed to the landscape, it was all just a bunch of rectangles.

Sound

The sound for this game was down right pathetic. There was little to no effort in making any great audio effects. I think we can all agree that sound is s important as artwork in a game. The worst part was probably that when you transformed for a move, it sounded like you were watching the old cartoon.

Gameplay

The gameplay was the most disappointing thing I had ever seen. You watch the movie and think that the game is going to be the best game of the year and you buy it and take it back the same day. First of all you don't get to do the most important thing of all, TRANSFORM. The only time you transform in the game is when you perform a special move. What is the point of buying a game titled "Transformers" if you don't even transform at all. Another thing is the combat, it sucks! You just jump around and shoot the same bullets over and over with an occasional special move. Honestly I would rather play a dress up game than this one. Oh and one last thing, I didn't understand what was going on in one level in specific, the level where Optimus goes to Cybertron to fight Megatron.

Lastability

This game went fast. There wasn't an ounce of lastability to be found in this game. The fights were easy and the levels were short and boring. The only way this game will last is if you don't buy it. There isn't an interesting thing to be found that would make this game lastable.

Overall

Overall this game isn't worth the money spent making it. Please don't buy this game people. I'm only saying it's bad on the PS2, I would recommend you buying it for the PS3 or the XBox 360. I've seen all versions of this game and this is the only terrible one.
