Tinykin is a 3D puzzle platformer where you play as an intergalactic astronaut named Milo. Milo arrives on Earth only to find out that he becomes a tiny figure in a huge house where not a day has passed since 1991. Catch hundreds of mysterious tinykin and use their unique powers to create ladders, bridges, explosions and a lot more. Find a way home through a sprawling ant-sized metropolis, and unravel Earth's biggest mystery.
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why it is best to explore in first-person mode and why you should search locations thoroughly before moving onto the next area.
In Tinykin you will be presented with huge environments that are filled with various activities you can engage in as you investigate them in search of tinykin and pollen. To make your search easier you can click on the right analogue stick of your controller to activate first-person mode which will allow you to properly survey an area without Milo, the character you are controlling getting in the frame.
In Tinykin there are two main collectibles - pollen and tinykin. There is no radar or ability to sniff them out in this game which is set in a series of large environments. In order to not get lost in all the activities it is recommended that you choose a location and proceed to explore it thoroughly before moving onto the next area. Resist the temptation however enticing to move on until you are happy you have finished exploring an area to the best of your ability. If you make this your gameplan you will find things less confusing if you need to backtrack for whatever reason.
Once you have finished the story and completed everything aside from the 'Gotta Catch 'em All!' challenge you can reference the tinykin 'final totals' to see which levels you still have tinykin to find.
